Charles Kazibwe, Director
Born in Uganda, Charles Kazibwe is married with children and has served in the local and international NGO sector since 1986. He worked for ActionAid in varying capacities, as Programme Co-ordinator (Uganda), Country Director (Sierra Leone) and Africa Regional Education Advisor. He holds an MSc in Management of NGOs from the London School of Economics in the UK. His work has, in many ways, been enriched by the BA and Diploma in Education that he holds from Makerere University in Uganda. While at Action Aid and now Transform Africa, he has been actively involved in various poverty, donor and North-South related activities including undertaking consultancies, presenting papers and facilitating conferences and workshops. He has travelled extensively and interacted with local communities, donors and NGOs in Africa, Asia and Latin America. He was appointed Director Transform Africa, a UK-based research, advocacy and capacity building organisation, since 2003.
Dr. SenorinaWendoh, Gender Officer
Dr. Senorina Wendoh is the Gender Programme Officer at Transform Africa. She has been involved in the on-going Transform Gender research and was responsible for development of the Gender Module, which is part of the Transform programme. She has also been involved in the delivery of the Transform programme as a trainer and provides gender support across the Transform Network. She holds a PhD in English on Race, Class and Gender, an MA and a B. Ed degree. She taught at university and high school levels for several years.
David Rowland, Finance Manager
David Rowland is a qualified accountant (CIMA). He has worked in various capacities with a number of commercial and charity organisations in the UK. He also holds a BSc from the University of London.
David has been working with Transform Africa since 2004 and is currently the Finance Manager.

BEED is a relatively new organisation that grew out of PREFED and is currently working mainly in agro-development consultancy and training.
Sierra Leone - ARD (Association for Rural Development)
ARD is a national NGO. It was founded in Sierra Leone in 1989. Its work focuses on microfinance and small business development. It has been particularly active working with women, who do not usually have access to formal banking systems. ARD also has experience in HIV/AIDS education and peace building. Senior personnel from ARD were involved in the Sierra Leone peace process and have since been working on strengthening cultures of peace at community level. They have previous experience of working in partnership with Northern organisations, including Christian Aid and the Coady International Institute. We have worked in partnership with them for nearly two years.
